Job Summary
Clearwater Solutions a leading provider of water and wastewater operations and maintenance services is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components and assemblies for plant repair and construction ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the fabrication process.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering blueprints drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
Use various metalworking equipment including saws drills grinders and welding equipment to fabricate metal components and assemblies for plant repair and construction.
Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal pieces using measuring instruments and marking tools.
Set up and operate metalworking machines to cut shape and form metal into various sizes and shapes.
Weld metal parts together using various techniques including MIG TIG and ARC welding.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
Collaborate with other members of the repair and construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Continuously improve fabrication processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Keep accurate records of time and materials used for each job.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in metalworking or welding preferred.
3 years of experience in metal fabrication with a strong understanding of welding and metalworking techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
Proficiency in the use of metalworking equipment including saws drills grinders and welding equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all aspects of fabrication.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
