Job Description
Requirements
- Provide support on Asset Management & Capitalization
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of IT assets eligible for capitalization
- Support the capitalization process by preparing asset schedules and ensuring alignment with accounting standards
- Monitor asset lifecycle and ensure timely updates to the asset register
- Assist on IT OPEX and CAPEX Cost Monitoring & Control
- Assist in tracking IT operating (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) expenditures against approved budgets
- Support monthly financial reviews by preparing cost summaries and variance analyses
- Liaise with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure proper cost allocation and charging
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities and flag potential budget overruns
- Support Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organized records of asset-related documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Prepare regular reports on asset status capitalization progress and financial impact
- Assist in reconciliation between asset records and financial systems
- Provide Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties to support month-end closing and settlement
- Provide administrative support to the PMO team on executing PMO-related processes
- Ensure Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to asset capitalization
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve data accuracy
Requirements
- Degree or above in Business Administration Finance or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years experience in administrative or finance-related roles preferably in asset or cost management
- Familiarity with asset capitalization principles and financial systems
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Good communication and coordination skills
