You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailApplications are invited for appointment as Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) (Ref.: 533022) to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
The University of Hong Kong has a highly ranked engineering school and active electrical and electronic engineering programmes. The EEE Department offers . . . and Ph.D. programmes. Information about the Department can be obtained at should possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field with a strong commitment to research and teaching. A solid track record in research is essential preferably in neuroscience and biomedical applications utilizing novel optical tools.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will be entitled to a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
