The UX & UI Experience Designer and Tester will be responsible for designing intuitive engaging and accessible user experiences for AI and digital transformation initiatives.

Working closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams this role ensures that user needs are translated into effective design solutions and UI solutions and validates these solutions through usability testing feedback and iterative refinement.

The designer will support both conceptual and detailed design efforts including wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs while playing a critical role in ensuring solution usability visual consistency and adoption.

1. User Research and Experience Design

  1. Conduct user research interviews and contextual inquiries to understand user needs behaviours pain points and understand AI product needs.
  2. Create user personas journey maps and experience flows to inform solution design.
  3. Translate business and functional requirements intointeraction modelswireframesuser task flows screen designsprototypes andUI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experienceto support usability and user-centered design.
  4. Expertise in information architecture directly supporting AI decision trees and content hierarchies.
  5. Assist in integrating branding and consistent visual languages across multiple AI platforms.
  6. Design interactions and animations tailored for AI outputs such as conversational agents Agentic AI predictive text.

2. Collaborative Design Delivery

  1. Work closely with Product Owner developers and stakeholders to co-design solutions aligned with project goals.
  2. Participate in agile ceremonies and incorporate feedback from sprints and demos into iterative design improvements.
  3. Ensure design consistency accessibility and adherence to UI/UX best practices across AI applications.

3. Usability Testing and Feedback Loop

  1. Design and execute usability test plans including task-based testing A/B testing and surveys.
  2. Analyze test results to identify usability issues collect actionable insights and propose design enhancements.
  3. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating the final implementation against design intent and user requirements.

4. Documentation and Design Assets

  1. Develop and maintain design documentation including design systems screen specifications color palettes typography icons buttons annotated prototypes and other visual elements specific to AI UI.
  1. Create user guides or onboarding materials to facilitate solution adoption when needed.

5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  1. Monitor post-implementation user experience and recommend enhancements.
  2. Analyze competitive interfaces to identify design opportunities and gaps in AI-driven applications.
  3. Stay up to date with UX/UI trends tools and AI interface design patterns to inform solution improvement.

Skills for Success:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in UI/UX design and testing
  • Experience in Customer/User journey maps and experience flows.
  • Good tohave experience in AI analytics or process automation.
  • Good to have experience in Workshop facilitation and storytelling for design justification.
  • Good to have experience in designing conversation flows error handling and multi-turn interactions for AI chatbots or virtual assistants.
  • Proficiency in design tools Figma Usability testing techniques and Prototyping and wireframing
