Part-Time IT Help Desk Representative

We are seeking a Part-Time IT Help Desk Representative to join our corporate office in Sioux Falls SD. This is an entry-level role designed to introduce you to help desk operations and provide hands-on experience in IT this position you will assist the IT team with maintaining and updating asset inventory as well as performing basic maintenance on company laptops and desktop PCs.

The Role

• Maintain and update IT asset inventory (laptops desktops and related equipment)
• Assist with routine checks and basic upkeep of company laptops and desktop PCs
• Help set up new computers and equipment under the guidance of IT staff
• Support the IT team with installing simple updates and ensuring devices are up to date
• Provide basic first-level assistance to employees (password resets login help general questions)
• Document completed tasks and escalate issues to senior IT staff when needed
• Learn and follow IT processes policies and security practices
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong interest in technology and eagerness to learn new skills
• Basic familiarity with using computers email and Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
• Dependable punctual and able to work part-time hours in the office
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the IT team with various tasks
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of common IT hardware software and network systems and protocols a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt to changing IT needs and demands
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
• Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves driving
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR Background Check Drug Screen)
