Job Summary

We are looking for a highly technical IT Administrator to oversee and support all aspects of the organizations IT environment. This role involves managing systems cloud services and security operations.

Job Title: IT Administrator
Location: Reston VA (commutable to Tysons Corner/DC area)
Job Type: TBD (Fulltime/Direct Hire or 6 Months Contract-To-Perm)

Work Authorization: US Citizen

Responsibilities:

Manage and support company IT systems including laptops mobile devices servers and networking
Establish and operate a ticketing system to track IT requests and issues
Ensure compliance with federal government regulations and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks
Collaborate with management to support IT policies procedures and risk management

Requirements

Education Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field; 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
IT Administration 3 years proven experience managing full IT operations for small to mid-size organizations
Systems Experience managing Windows environments including Microsoft 365 Intune Defender Purview and Sentinel; familiarity with Linux systems
Cloud Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS administration
Compliance Experience with CMMC NIST 800-171 ISO27001 or similar cybersecurity standards
Security experience with endpoint protection network monitoring and basic infrastructure management
Security Clearance Must be eligible to hold a security clearance
Certification ITIL and other relevant certifications preferred
Communication ability to work with technical and non-technical teams to address IT and compliance needs
