About the role M te tranga mahi
We are seeking a passionate Advisor (Organisational Development) to enhance ACCs people capability. You will develop coordinate and deliver initiatives that boost our culture drive engagement and improve leadership and performance systems. You will also identify improvement opportunities design initiatives and collaborate with business groups for successful implementation.
Youll be joining a team that knows how to have a lot of fun while staying highly focused on delivering outcomes and making a difference across ACC. We work hard move at pace and have a strong culture based on connections. We emphasise the importance of building strong relationships with each other and the business.
This is a permanent Wellington based role.
This role offers a great opportunity for growth in the Organisational Development (OD) space.
While prior OD experience is preferred we are also interested in seeing applications from those with skills in best practice research analysis and other areas across People & Culture. Or you may already be an OD Advisor looking to grow your skills further.
Youll be willing to not only support the wider OD team but also contribute by completing tasks such as planning coordination and logistics. Youll utilise your advisory skills by assisting with projects and programmes of work relating to the key areas of work at the time.
This role has a focus on our leadership development suite of offerings. You will actively coordinate and lead this area including logistics programme management and programme awareness. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are paramount as youll be engaging with a wide range of internal stakeholders at all levels as well as with external stakeholders such as the Leadership Development Council.
With the support of OD team youll research diagnose come up with solutions and deliver pieces of work. Youll be comfortable with facilitation while this wont be a huge part of the role there will be aspects of it as expected when youre working on an end-to-end project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Sound knowledge of analysis and research practices
- Proficiency in digital tools including some experience with AI
- Experience developing and implementing organisational interventions
- Project management experience
- Experience in managing external supplier relationships
- Experience with the Leadership Development Centre suite of programmes an asset including 360 assessment coordination desirable
- Coaching Accreditation desirable but not essential or a desire to grown in this area would be great
- Work under pressure set priorities and manage tight deadlines.
- Take research condense it understand its practical utility and when/how it can be applied.
- Analyse organisational needs and work with others to design and develop initiatives to meet these needs.
- Deliver or be actively involved with organisational development / capability development.

The salary range for this role is $85037 - $120052with appointment dependent on skills experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
