Job Description

We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our taxteam as a Tax Intern.

This is a paid internship program (25-30 hours per week January to Mid-April) and is designed to provide college students with an opportunity to enhance their formal education with a hands-on career-related experience. This role is also ideal for someone looking for a part-time seasonal position in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of federal state and local individual and business income tax returns
  • Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
  • Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
  • Other duties as requested by Tax team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Majoring in Finance Accounting or related business degree
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications
  • Actively participating in campus organizations preferably within a leadership role and/or professional work experience

  • Keen consistent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
