Job Description:A High School Spanish Teacher teaches secondary school Spanish classes to
students individually and in groups adapting teaching methods to meet students varying needs
and interests. They establish clear objectives for all lessons that guide the learning process
toward the achievement of State curriculum goals. They create a classroom environment that
engages and supports all students in learning using a variety of instructional materials and media.
They stay abreast of current topics in Spanish to keep instructional materials relevant. While
evaluating student learning they maintain appropriate expectations for all students provide
appropriate feedback and revise instruction accordingly. They effectively communicate with
students parents and the community.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Education Spanish or related fields. Must possess a valid
Virginia Teaching License. Native or like-native fluency in Spanish required. Multiple positions
