About the Role

As an Account Manager Stakeholder Relations you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with municipal governments industry organizations local communities and internal stakeholders across ATCO Energy System which includes ATCO Gas & Pipelines and ATCO Electric utilities. You will help ensure ATCOs voice is represented in policy discussions regulatory developments and community collaboration with cross-functional teams you will foster internal alignment monitor external initiatives and represent ATCO in stakeholder discussions and committee work.

What You Get to Do:

• Represent ATCO Energy Systems in key meetings forums and advocacy opportunities
• Monitor policies regulatory changes and market trends impacting utilities
• Collaborate across departments including Government Relations Public Affairs and Operations
• Manage stakeholder issues and provide insight to senior leadership
• Provide clear concise reports on stakeholder sentiment and market intelligence

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in stakeholder relations government relations or public affairs ideally in utility or energy sector
• In-depth understanding of municipal governance industry regulations and the utility landscape
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Confidence in representing organizational interests in diverse forums
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel up to 20% within Alberta
