About the Role:
As the Aboriginal Workforce Engagement and Retention Officer you will play a key role in supporting the goals and objectives of the Aboriginal Health Directorate. You will provide expert project policy and planning advice while analysing workforce data and preparing reports that inform decision-making.
Your work will focus on enhancing recruitment pathways for Aboriginal people into RMCLHN and developing strategies that promote retention and career development of Aboriginal staff. Responsibilities include undertaking regional administrative functions such as surveying and capturing data budget monitoring financial administration procurement workforce administration and records management.
In addition you will lead discrete projects or programs applying your high-level analytical research and communication skills to co-design solutions that address system barriers and gaps. Collaboration will be central to your role as you engage with RMCLHN sites Aboriginal Health Teams Aboriginal Organisations and other stakeholders to strengthen workforce engagement and retention across the network.
