HSE Officer

• Partner with managers and teams to embed safety into everyday operations.
• Lead safety walks inspections and risk assessments to spot hazards early and prevent incidents.
• Review SWMS oversee work permits and ensure contractors meet safety standards.
• Deliver and support training programs such as manual handling and confined space awareness.
• Investigate incidents manage injury and return-to-work processes and drive preventative actions.
• Keep accurate confidential records of hazards incidents audits health monitoring and compliance activities.
• Champion a proactive safety culture driving continuous improvement in WHS and psychosocial risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies procedures and ISO standards (ISO-14001 ISO-9001 ISO-45001).
• Support site contractor management and contribute to WHS improvement projects.
• Provide support to the National HSE Manager on broader initiatives when required.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the Australian market.
• Certificate IV in Health and Safety (minimum).
• Solid knowledge of WHS legislation policies and best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise plan and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
• Resilient and adaptable with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office 365.
• Current Australian drivers licence.
