Innovation Pathways After-School Program Teacher - Capstone Course 2025 - 2026

The Worcester Public Schools is seeking a teacher for its Innovation Pathways Program. Worcester Public Schools Innovation Pathway Program is a partnership between Worcesters comprehensive high schools and Worcester Technical High School designed to help students understand and plan for future career fields. Through participation in the program students will have the chance to explore a career field of interest and the potential to earn industry recognized credentials/certifications. Whether a student is pursuing higher education immediately upon graduation or interested in jump starting their career they will have more knowledge and be more competitive having completed the Innovation Pathways ensure that your SchoolSpring application is accurate and updated as we will use your application materials to make decisions pertaining to this position is a program teaching position for the capstone classes the students take in the afternoons at Worcester Technical High School. The successful applicant will have experience in project-based work and facilitating the professionalism and quality of work of teams of students. The capstone class will include student reflections and evidence of professional skills post-secondary planning and group project work in the career sector they have chosen to study. This position will require communication and facilitation with industry partners. The class will meet at Worcester Tech 1 day per week with work expected to be done outside of class 5 2025 - March 19 2026 Technical course time frameMeeting dates prior to November 5 for planning will be Development with curriculum partners will also be Innovation Career Pathways Program operates on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:15pm - 5:45pm at Worcester Technical High School. Teachers will work with the Director to schedule 2 days/week and use the third day as a possible make-up day for remote work or snow or other cancellations.
