Job Description
- Design develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages procedures triggers and functions.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integrations with Oracle databases.
- Support application development teams by writing efficient backend logic and database objects.
- Perform data analysis validation and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including data models design specifications and database standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews unit testing and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and packages.
- Solid experience with performance tuning of PL/SQL and SQL queries.
- Experience with ETL development and data integration from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with database design data modeling and normalization concepts.
- Knowledge of Oracle tools (SQL*Plus TOAD SQL Developer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (Oracle Cloud AWS RDS etc.) is a plus.
