Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Atlanta GA Onsite

Long Term Contract - W2/C2C

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our clients team in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing developing and optimizing complex PL/SQL procedures packages triggers and functions. This role requires hands-on database development experience performance tuning skills and the ability to work collaboratively with application developers business analysts and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages procedures triggers and functions.
Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integrations with Oracle databases.
Support application development teams by writing efficient backend logic and database objects.
Perform data analysis validation and ensure data integrity across systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation including data models design specifications and database standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews unit testing and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and packages.
Solid experience with performance tuning of PL/SQL and SQL queries.
Experience with ETL development and data integration from multiple sources.
Familiarity with database design data modeling and normalization concepts.
Knowledge of Oracle tools (SQL*Plus TOAD SQL Developer).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud-based databases (Oracle Cloud AWS RDS etc.) is a plus.
