Job Summary

Position overview / Statement of Work

Design and build model-driven and canvas apps based on departmental needs.

Develop custom components and connectors as required.

Ensure solutions are secure user-friendly and mobile-responsive.

Automate data workflows between PowerApps and other internal or external systems.

Configure approvals notifications and business rules within Power Automate flows.

Monitor and troubleshoot flows for reliability and efficiency.

Create interactive dashboards and reports based on collected and existing data.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and performance metrics.

Ensure data models are optimized for performance and maintain data integrity.

Develop role-based access and publish dashboards securely.

Participate in user testing and iterative refinements.

Responsible for developing and implementing application development tasks.

Assists with deployment of applications and resources.

Required Skills:

Proficient in developing PowerApps (canvas and model-driven)

Strong knowledge of Power Automate for automating business processes

Experience with JSON REST APIs and custom connectors

Familiarity with data integration using SharePoint SQL Server or Dataverse

Understanding of user experience (UX) design and responsive layouts

Competency in debugging performance optimization and error handling

Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise system integration and enterprise geodatabases.

Required Experience

3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform development.

Prior work on enterprise-level apps with multiple stakeholders

Experience developing secure apps

Previous exposure to police department or public safety data workflows is a plus

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
