We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Systems Architect with strong DevSecOps and Enterprise Architecture expertise to support a mission-critical environment. This role focuses on modernizing complex systems guiding architectural decision-making and integrating secure engineering practices across a large-scale enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design development and documentation of as-is and to-be enterprise architectures driving modernization and long-term technology planning.
Facilitate trade-off analyses architecture reviews and technical decision-making to support both current capability needs and future-state objectives.
Maintain update and evolve architecture products throughout the IT project lifecycle ensuring alignment with standards system changes and mission priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering cybersecurity and program teams to integrate architectural changes and ensure compliance with DoD and industry security requirements.
Support and execute Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities using frameworks such as UAF contributing to system technical and security architectures.
Contribute to Zero Trust architecture implementation by modeling data flows interfaces and security constraints across the enterprise.
Provide strategic guidance on Enterprise Architecture and Systems Architecture ensuring alignment across systems platforms and mission needs.
Integrate DevSecOps Agile methodologies and Cloud Computing principles into architecture and engineering activities.
Collect analyze and document system requirements in authoritative repositories; develop innovative and secure technical solutions across a variety of IT system challenges.
Ensure architectural alignment with best practices regulatory requirements and evolving enterprise needs.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
1016 years of relevant experience
Prefer a Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Management or related technical field.
Will look at those who have a Bachelors with relevant expertise
ITIL v4 Foundations certification. desired not mandatory
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security CE).
Required Skills:
Minimum Qualifications: 10-16 years of relevant experience with BA/BS in computer science Information Technology Data Management or a related field SQL Database Administration expertise (SQL 2012 or higher) and proven experience in Microsoft Server environments (2012 or higher). Familiarity with data science tools and methodologies is highly desirable. Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Due to the nature of this work you must have a TS SCI Clearance level
