Job Description
Introduction
INTRODUCTION
A vacancy exists for aPatient Services successful candidate will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of patient services resources processes and operations to achieve quality growth and people objectives in order to ensure the optimization of the hospitals profitability.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- Ensure effective quality management and customer care
- Ensure effective people management
- Ensure effective and accurate billing
- Ensure effective interpretation & application of contracts and funder rules
- Facilitating effective cash flow management
- Ensure effective operational capabilities
- Governance and risk management
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in Nursing
- Case Management and Coding Experience essential
- Minimum of five years relevant private healthcare industry and proven leadership change and people management experience
- Current registration with the SANC
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry its challenges and role players would be an advantage including an understanding of relevant and current legislation as well as the knowledge of medical terminology CPT/ICD coding technical and clinical concepts and patient services business processes
- Drivers license and ability to travel
