Position: Maintenance Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards minimizing downtime responsible for leading maintenance systems overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long-term strategic plans and enhancing productivity.
Responsibilities
Develop and impellent Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and Predictive Maintenance Plans
Create and implement Maintenance best practices to aid and improve operational performance: take corrective action when needed
Must be familiar with both hydraulic & mechanical press up to 2500 tons CNC mills air compressors Hilos & a bonus if familiar CO2 lasers & fiber lasers.
Oversee and help execute annual monthly weekly and daily preventative maintenance schedules to maintain established internal standards
Evaluate and analyze problems involving machinery and equipment
Coordinate maintenance work with various operations in order to control safety and down time
Manage the introduction of new machinery and disposal of obsolete machinery
Understanding of IATF 5S lean manufacturing safety and environmental standards
Lead and manage the maintenance team providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Manage the installation maintenance and repair of logic controllers and other automated systems.
Fabricate parts as needed to support equipment repairs or modifications.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Ten years of manufacturing plant level experience
Must have proven management experience
Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and machine prints and manuals
Proficient with Microsoft Office and PLEX a bonus
Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems schematics and logic controllers.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficient in English both written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to fabricate components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
