Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician assists nurses and physicians in gastroenterology (GI) specialty procedures. Prepares the room in which the procedure takes place and performs post-procedure clean up and high level disinfection procedures according to manufacturer recommendations and pertinent regulations. Performs record keeping of physician observations. May be responsible for collecting patient biopsies and specimens.

Experience:
- Previous Endoscopy Technician or Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented and able to follow moderately complex directions for cleaning procedures and document correctly into the daily log book on a daily basis
- Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to follow direction and carry out duties as assigned.
