Job Summary

Position: Installation Field Technician

Duration: 2 Month Contract

Location: Chicago IL (Fully Onsite) would include daily travel around the downtown Chicago area

Start Date: Training the week of thanksgiving (3 hour virtual training and can pick the day that works best) officially start on Dec 1st 2025

Key Responsibilities

Install and wire security cameras lighting alarms and related systems on canopy structures and surrounding areas.
Mount and secure cabling conduits and brackets according to electrical and building codes.
Test troubleshoot and calibrate equipment to ensure full functionality and system integrity.
Work at heights using ladders lifts or scaffolding in compliance with safety regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and installation plans.
Collaborate with project managers electricians and other technicians to ensure on-time high-quality installations.
Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Complete all documentation including installation reports service logs and site assessments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade certification preferred).
Minimum 1 3 years of experience in security system installation electrical work or low-voltage systems.
Working knowledge of CCTV IP camera systems NVR/DVR setup and network configuration.
Familiarity with canopy structures outdoor electrical routing and weatherproofing methods.
Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments.
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
