The Opportunity
We are now inviting applications for committed and reliable Part Time Steward/Kitchen Hand (Back of House) to join our hotel. Our ideal candidate is someone who is working in a similar role and has been responsible for washing dishes china ware flatware cutlery crockery kitchen machinery sweeping mopping floors cleaning and detailing equipment etc. This is a hands-on role and you will ensure the kitchen is clean well maintained and organised at all times whilst adhering to work health safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
About You
Experience working in a similar Steward/Kitchen Hand position (hotel or hospitality environment preferred)
Take work health and safety seriously and uphold hygienic standards and practices - always
Passion for hospitality and supporting our entire Culinary and Food and Beverage team
Good communications skills
Strong attention to detail and highly organised (able to manage multiple priorities)
Collaborative and willing to help where and when required
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Collaborative in your approach and able to build trusted working relationships
Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 14kgs without assistance. Stand sit or walk for an extended period of time.
Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days evenings weekends and public holidays
Full working rights in Australia is essential
