Project Completion Engineer - Utility Systems (SRU) - Yggdrasil - Hugin A - Stord
General Job Description:
The Commissioning System Responsible for Utility Systems is responsible for the planning execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems related to the delivery and integration of the Hugin A platform on the Yggdrasil FFA Project. The System Responsible will also assist in ensuring the Project Team deliver in accordance with Aker BP BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.
Roles & Responsibilities
System Responsible Engineer for Utility systems (SRU)
Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
Provide engineering input
Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems including input to plan.
Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
Develop review and implementation of commissioning procedures.
Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health safety and the environment to achieve Aker BPs expectations.
Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Experience qualifications and abilities:
Education
Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
Essential experience and job requirements
Experience from NORSOK projects.
Experience with Sulphate Removal Units is a major advantage.
System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
SAS logic and SCD knowledge is a major advantage.
SAS dynamic simulator experience is a major advantage.
Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Oslo. Mobilization to construction site in Batam Indonesia for a period prior to mobilizing to Stord Norway integration site is a requirement of this position. Offshore is also a requirement for this position.
