About your workplace
This is a regional role that can be based in any of the locations in Europe.The Regional Business Controller Professional Service ensures proper execution of financial planning and analyses as well as reporting within the region NWE for the area of Professional Service (growth of revenue and contracts standard margin the entire cost volume in the P&L Service benchmarking KPIs) incl. budgeting forecasting performance analysis and data quality that setup his/her main task is to improve growth and profitability.
The Regional Business Controller Professional Service acts as close business partner to the Professional Regional Director Service the Heads of Service in the markets and the Professional Regional Managing Director (MD). There will be close cooperation with the Business Controllers for Professional Service in the other regions and in the headquarter.
The purpose and responsibilities of this role
Support the Head of Professional Controlling Marketing Sales & Service and Regional Director Service as well as Regional Managing Director in the core task of improving financial development of the region through active financial management and business partnering
Conduct financial analyses and communicate key financial developments frequently to the Head of Professional Controlling Marketing Sales & Service and the Regional Director Service as well as Regional Managing Director
Offer financial guidance to the Regional Director Service and Heads of Service in the markets in key business decisions related to the regions cost development efficiency and profitability.
Support target setting and the execution of budgeting and forecasting in close alignment with the Regional Director Service and the Head of Service in the markets.
Work in close alignments with other Business Controllers in the regions and headquarter for ensuring congruent and frugal financial advisory services and steering and furthermore support the implementation and development of Professional Regional Controlling role processes standardization and projects under the guidance of the Head of Professional Controlling Marketing Sales & Service
You will be asked to demonstrate
University degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance (or equivalent qualification)
Strong business acumen and commercial mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
Excellent analytical skills combined with proactiveness and a strong sense of compliance
Team player with a collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working in an international environment
Effective communicator with solid verbal and written English skills
