Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Shakopee MN
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-2:00am
Employment Type: Full time
About this Opportunity:
The QA Technician is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to inspecting verifying and documenting food safety and quality product and packaging quality according to Stone Gate policies and procedures. Verifying and monitoring the production process adhering to USDA FDA GMP and sanitation guidelines.
What Youll Be Doing:
Complete all daily Quality/Food Safety Checks and paperwork. Reports in a timely manner.
Regular attendance to ensure production food safety requirements are met.
Performs calibrations verifications weekly according to schedule.
Verify allergen procedures and practices are followed.
Prepares all the required paperwork and quality measures during new product introduction & for existing products.
Identify in-process product condition by collecting samples during the product process conducting in-process inspections and physical tests.
Ability to work the schedule/ assigned times.
Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions and solve problems.
May perform other duties as assigned.
What makes you a great fit:
Good communications skills solid interpersonal skills well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously attention to details dependable safety conscious and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Demonstrate knowledge of basic math and science skills with strong verbal and written communication
High School Diploma.
Associate degree or bachelors degree in science Biology is a plus.
