The Opportunity
TC Energy is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Grande Prairie Alberta to support our efforts in Energy Problem Solving and our daily operations.
We are seeking students enrolled in science focused diploma or degree or related programs to support our field operations. You will support the compression team both learning technical and daily operations.
We engage our students in the very core of our operations. As a valued member of the team youll do exciting challenging work solve real world problems and make a meaningful impact. Youll learn about the business and build your professional network by working closely with other skilled people at TC Energy. Every day will enhance your knowledge skills and passion for what you do.
Term lengths is 3 months.
What youll do:
- Assist with electrical instrumentation and controls projects
- Support safety initiatives and maintain workplace safety standards
- Analyze technical data to support operational decisions
- Collaborate on cross-functional team projects and initiatives
- Build relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvement and continuous enhancement efforts
- Manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities
- Participate in professional development and mentorship programs
- Prepare technical reports and present findings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a science focused diploma or degree program with at least one semester completed
- Enrollment at an accredited University/Polytechnic returning to school for at least one semester following work term
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical Instrumentation and Controls background
- Safety mindset in professional and personal settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to analyze information and deal with ambiguity
- Experience in dynamic environments and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multitasking organizational and time management skills
- Committed to continuous improvement and personal development
