Be the Visionary Behind the Products
As our Product Manager youll own the lifecycle of our entire workholding portfoliofrom inception to retirement. Youll analyze trends track competitors and listen to customers to guide product strategy. Youll be the bridge between engineering manufacturing marketing and sales ensuring that 5th Axis not only keeps its edge but pushes the industry forward.
What Youll Do Here
Strategic Planning: Build and maintain 1-year 3-year and 5-year roadmaps for our workholding products.
Define product strategies pricing positioning and features that maximize adoption and profitability.
Manage full product lifecyclesconcept launch growth maturity and retirement.
Drive new product development line extensions and cost-reduction initiatives.
Gather and analyze market trends customer feedback and competitive intelligence.
Partner with engineering on design specs manufacturing on cost targets and scaling and marketing on launches and campaigns.
Track KPIs sales margins and market share to evaluate product performance.
Support sales teams with product knowledge training and key account engagement.
What Youll Bring
5 years of product management experience in manufacturing CNC machining or industrial equipment/tools.
Bachelors in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Business or related field (MBA preferred).
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes fixturing and automation trends.
Ability to conduct market and competitive analysis to guide decisions.
Strategic mindset paired with project management skills to juggle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
A data-driven approach with experience using metrics and financial analysis in product planning.
