Senior Sales Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global player in the specialty chemicals industry. This organization is known for its innovation sustainable practices and strong global market presence. With a strong international presence and a commitment to innovation sustainability and strategic growth this organization is looking to hire a Senior Sales Manager for US to drive sales strategy and performance across the region. The Sales Executive Coatings is responsible for generating and augmenting sales of client products within their assigned territory and business as well as promoting new products for new market applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relations through personal visits and other means to meet all sales and growth objectives
- Plan organize and implement a sales strategy for assigned territory. Meet sales and growth objectives; creation of customer specific or customizable product offerings; balanced scorecard; customer visits with regional and global management.
- Analyze customer needs determine the best solution using appropriate client products coordinate technical support
- Develop manage and implement travel plans for customer visitations to support sales strategies
- Interface with support groups (CSD Credit etc.) to assure solid face to customer
- Provide market feedback for new product development and existing product improvement. Attend trade shows and industry functions to promote the sale of client products
- Keep abreast of competitive products applications market conditions competitive activities etc
Your Profile:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or related field.
- 15 - 20 years experience in direct sales to the coatings industry
- Good computer skills excellent communication skills and the desire/ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Thorough understanding of products and how they can be applied to benefit the customer and promote a sale.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel
