Herb Jones Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable PartsCounterperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key player
in our Parts Department assisting technicians and retail customers in finding the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles.

Responsibilities:
Assist both internal (service technicians) and external (retail) customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts for
their vehicles.Look up parts accurately using computerized inventory systems and parts catalogs.
Answer customer inquiries and provide price quotes over the phone and at the counter.
Order out-of-stock parts from suppliers and track shipments to completion.
Process customer sales including cash credit card and dealership charge accounts.
Process parts returns and exchanges ensuring proper documentation and inspection.
Maintain accurate and organized inventory records and participate in inventory cycle counts.
Stock shelves and maintain a clean and professional appearance in the parts department.
Collaborate with the Service Department to ensure a timely flow of parts to technicians.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
1-2 years of experience in an automotive parts retail or customer service role is preferred.
Solid knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with computer systems including parts inventory and Point of Sale (POS)
