Job Summary
VISTA Technology Services Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a senior-level Program Manager to support our NAVSEA customer. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3days a week in Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Program Manager will be dedicated to identifying challenges mitigating risks and supporting a team with vision and focus and ensure our Navy clients programs achieve success. They will:
- Lead a multi-functional cross-team to design implement and maintain impactful programs guiding efforts across Navy systems
- Develop organize and coordinate program objectives
- Provide team with direction as they navigate requirements budget constraints and programmatic challenges
- Identify opportunities within the Navy Market to grow the business by supporting your clients mission
- Broaden expertise in problem management strategic planning reviewing contracts etc.
- Share knowledge and expertise in program management methodologies in support of national defense goals
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a Business field
- 15 years of experience as a Program or Project Manager within the DoD or NAVSEA Program Offices
- Experience with a new program development or startup program for a DoD organization or a commercial organization that supported DoD efforts
- Knowledge of Program Management principles
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition processes
- Knowledge of Navy Unmanned Systems
- Ability to develop independently and provide senior-level PM products and briefs to the client and program stakeholders
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as a Program Manager within Navy Ships Submarines or Unmanned Systems Program Offices
- Experience with new ship construction Navy program office development
- Masters degree in a Business field
- PMP Certification
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $120000.00 to $160000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTAs total compensation package for employees.
