Facility Description: Norton Brownsboro Hospital is a full-service 197-bed community hospital serving patients from northeastern Jefferson County Kentucky and surrounding counties including Carroll Henry Oldham Shelby Spencer and Trimble as well as Southern a patient- and family-centered model of care Norton Brownsboro offers a wide range of inpatient outpatient diagnostic orthopedic cardiovascular neurologic and neurosurgical care cancer care and intensive care services. The hospital offers Exablate focused ultrasound to treat patients with tremors as well as the TenJet System device for noninvasive treatment of patients with joint pain.Norton Brownsboro Hospitals 24/7 emergency department has 39 private treatment rooms and a heliport for critical care transport and it is a regional referral center for advanced neurosurgical conditions specifically stroke has certified Norton Brownsboro Hospital as a Comprehensive Stroke Center providing the highest-level treatment for serious stroke events and as an Advanced Orthopedic & Spine Center of Excellence for knee and hip replacement and shoulder and spine surgery.
