Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a confident detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our vibrant front-of-house team at Scope Radiology. This pivotal role supports both patients and clinical staff ensuring a seamless experience and efficient operations within our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage appointment bookings via phone and digital systems
- Accurately process patient registrations referrals and consents
- Liaise effectively with radiologists technicians and referring clinicians
- Handle billing Medicare claims and private health fund interactions with precision
- Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of patient records
- Uphold a clean welcoming and organized reception and waiting area
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
- Previous experience in a radiology environment is essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong attention to detail and organizational capability
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Familiarity with medical software systems (PACS HeathTrack etc.) is an advantage
- Solid understanding of Medicare and health fund billing processes
- A professional empathetic and patient-focused demeanour
