Welcome to the Sales Internship at CoStar Group! This 10-week program offers a unique opportunity for college students eager to jumpstart their careers in sales with hands-on exposure to leading brands such as CoStar and LoopNet.

Primarily based in Richmond VA with alternate locations such as Dallas Chicago Arlington VA Atlanta & Denver youll gain valuable experience working directly with our sales teams contributing to key sales initiatives and learning how to drive business success within the residential commercial & multi-family real estate and property technology sectors. At the end of your internship you may be considered for a full-time associate position in our Sales Development Program in 2027.

As a Sales Development Intern you will collaborate closely with seasoned sales professionals providing support across various sales functions while gaining insight into the sales process and the platforms we offer. This is your chance to build a foundation for a successful sales career in a fast-paced dynamic industry.Youll gain exposure across our industry-leading brands:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Learn the concepts of sales by assisting the sales team in prospecting servicing and market research support using CoStar Sales (CRE) and LoopNet.

  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales professionals to understand client needs and participate in meetings and market events to learn our industry and sales process.

  • Market Research: Research industry trends competitor activities and business opportunities to inform sales strategies.

  • Sales Operations: Help organize sales materials manage CRM systems and track sales performance.

  • Brand Exposure: Gain knowledge of CoStar Groups products and services and how they impact the residential commercial & multi-family real estate market.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current college student pursuing a bachelors degree with expected graduation in December 2026 or May 2027.

  • Minimum 3.2 and above GPA.

  • Strong interest in sales real estate and business development.

  • Excellent communication research and organizational skills.

  • MS Office Suite proficiency; PowerPoint Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A proactive solution-oriented mindset and a passion for learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active participation in extracurricular programs and/or holding leadership positions in student-led organizations is highly valued.
