POSITION OVERVIEW The Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales and maintain good business relationships. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Sell the complete XXXX line of products to new and existing accounts Give sales meetings to distributor salespeople Make sales calls with and for distributors Helps in developing new products markets ideas and sales techniques to make XXXXX grow profitably Forecasts territory sales for budgeting Have a proven track record in flexible packaging sales with emphasis in the food and medical industries Be able to prospect identify and establish new clients in the U.S. Submission of daily and weekly reports Other duties as required COMPETENCIES Self-motivated creative and innovative Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be a problem solver EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years sales experience Experience in selling flexible packaging in a particular geographic region PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be capable of overnight travel a minimum of 2 weeks/month Must have a vehicle and a valid drivers license Must have a credit card The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
