Business Operations General Job Description:

Team Description

Our team is looking for a Principal Business Operations & Planning who will report to a leader in our Sabre office. This role will collaborate across multiple functions including Sabre business units Sabre Finance and People Team to solve challenges internally and implement goal-oriented strategies.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis and reporting on Sabre workforce and provides financial oversight
  • Drives complex financial analysis functions such as budget forecast and workforce planning
  • Partner with Sabre Finance and People Team on workforce planning and associated financial plans forecasts and multiyear outlooks
  • Support Global Operations team in total cost of workforce financial analysis
  • Develop and automate financial reporting and workforce metrics
  • Analyze workforce data for actionable information and communicate to leadership
  • Collaborate across multiple functions to develop business cases
  • Coordinate and complete special projects


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Degree in relevant field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including data manipulation and modeling
  • Excellent financial and business acumen
  • Curious mindset and self-starter; ability to interpret data and communicate message clearly and concisely
  • Excellent communication and people skills with an ability to work across an organization developing key relationships
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced PowerPoint and Excel expertise; Workday and other third-party tools preferred
  • Salesforce Knowledge is required
