Senior Social Worker

Full Time - 40 hours per week - Wellington

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join our Wellington Service Centre who shares our vision and is able to work closely with tamariki rangatahi whnau and the community in a strengths-based and culturally appropriate way that promotes family well-being/whnau mauri ora.

The Senior Social Worker role includes social work practice delivery practice supervision provision of support to the Practice Manager and development of internal and external relationships.

The successful person will have the following:

A Social Work Qualification (minimum 3 years experience)
Registration with the SWRB with current practicing certificate.
Knowledge and experience in care and protection social work
Good knowledge of The Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and its Family Court processes.
An in-depth understanding of how the role recognises the special relationship between Mori and Tauiwi and strong empathy with the organisations special character.
At least 5 years relevant Social Work experience needed.
A full New Zealand drivers license is essential.
An alignment with the Open Home Foundations Christian Kaupapa.

The fulltime salary for this position is between $95250 to $122464 p.a. Kindly note the salary is based on experience.
