Job Summary
The Director-Digital Engagement is responsible for creating maintaining and optimizing Midland Colleges web presence to ensure an engaging user-friendly and branded online experience. This role combines content management digital marketing and data analysis to strengthen the Colleges visibility drive engagement and support student recruitment and retention goals.
Essential Functions
Web Content & Branding Write edit and maintain webpages that are accurate persuasive and aligned with institutional branding messaging and accessibility standards Ensure all web content supports enrollment marketing campaigns student success initiatives and community engagement Develop compelling landing pages and digital storytelling content that highlight programs events and campus life Manage interactive digital tools including the implementation of website chatbot Ensure interactive map content is accurate and up-to-date highlighting campus locations resources and events Digital Marketing & Campaigns Partner with the Marketing & PR team to create launch and maintain digital campaigns that support recruitment retention and brand awareness Use SEO metadata and keyword strategies to increase organic visibility and search rankings for programs and initiatives Track and evaluate campaign landing page performance; translate results into actionable recommendations to improve conversions and ROI Ensure website content is integrated with social media email campaigns and other digital platforms for cohesive multi-channel marketing Analytics & Strategy Monitor website performance user behavior and campaign engagement through analytics tools Produce dashboards and reports for stakeholders highlighting web traffic conversions and user trends Recommend and implement strategies to improve website navigation engagement accessibility and search engine optimization Lead testing and implementation of new web technologies interactive features and digital tools that improve student and community engagement Collaboration & Support Serve as a campus-wide resource partnering with faculty and staff to develop effective student-focused content Manage ticket requests for website updates and ensure timely high-quality completion Assist with writing and editing for marketing materials email campaigns and event promotions Participate in committees related to digital marketing web strategy and emerging technologies Other duties as assigned

The person in this position needs to occasionally move or drive to other locations on and off campus Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation The person in this position needs to move to other locations on campus occasionally The person in this position frequently communicates with others verbally and electronically; must be able to exchange accurate information Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision and the ability to adjust focus Occasionally moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds Office environment Ability to work extended hours and attend Midland College or community events This position may require occasional travel for training meetings and events both in and out of town
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications Associate degree and at least two (2) years of experience in web content creation digital communications or website management Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail Experience with content management systems web analytics and SEO Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License good driving record and be insurable on Midland Colleges insurance policy
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Marketing English Web Design or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered
