Mechanical Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2026Here at Entegris we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the ROLEOur site in Round Rock TX is seeking a/an Mechanical Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in this exciting role the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for assisting in developing new high purity solid precursor delivery system for advanced node chemistries for the semiconductor industry. The role will also develop infrastructure that supports the builds maintenance and quality of the delivery containers. This position will also participate in the development of 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks of complex delivery systems subassemblies support equipment and precursor containers. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced continuous improvement environment focused on safety quality and equipment Youll DoCoordinate project timelines with lead mechanical engineer New Product Development (NPD) managementHands-on component assemblies for subassemblies and support change through cross-functional partnering in a global factory in fracture to support container builds cleans capacity and quality alternative site factory build out Entegris is building advanced deposition materials capabilities in other countries. This role will support the build component fitment tolerance stack up functionality ease of assembly and components and ordering parts directly with machine shops and outside 2D drawings of components subassemblies and bills of materials that are up to ASME Y14.5M-2009 with the engineering team to create new part numbers ECRs and other support safely and drive process required documentation for new and modified containers and sub-components including drawings bills of material and part We SeekDemonstrated experience within a global multicultural multi-location organization serving the semiconductor improvements in product performance and/or cost (value engineering).Understand Materials of Construction and how they interact in contact with corrosive chemicals.A fundamental knowledge of (vapor pressure material stability material compatibility etc.) and thermodynamics (mass flow etc.).Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and associated to drive projects to world class performance in a timely to work in a team integrity and high degree of of project teams to develop creative solutions to technical problems is communication skills up down and across the organization with project teams stakeholders and senior Major(s) & Graduation YearMechanical Engineering Graduation year 2026-2027EligibilityMust be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
