About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and families Were looking for a dynamic and committed Early Help Targeted Youth Worker to join our Childrens Families and Education division. Youll play a vital role in delivering early intervention support to adolescents and their families helping them stay safe healthy and engaged in education and community life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted time-limited interventions to young people and families.
Use strength-based and solution-focused approaches to reduce risk and promote positive change.
Provide mentoring and practical support to help young people access services and opportunities.
Collaborate with social workers youth justice schools and community partners.
Promote education emotional wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
Respond flexibly to family needs including out-of-hours support.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience working directly with children young people and families with complex needs.
Strong understanding of safeguarding child protection and legal frameworks.
Ability to assess risk develop action plans and deliver evidence-based interventions.
A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Youth Work Social Work Teaching).
Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
