Job Summary

Position Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is a member of the shipping/receiving department and ensures that all products are packaged and labeled to company specifications and standards.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for manual packaging and wrapping a variety of materials including LFG RFP and B-Sales orders
Label cartons for shipment
Perform quality verification to ensure proper resin stickers and address labels have been affied to the product and shipping boxes
Maintain records of items packed
Stack and load packages on loading dock
Placed finished good in proper inventory
Restock all supplies

Physical/Environmental Requirements

May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Ability to stand walk sit and use of hands to handle feel or grasp objects tools or controls.
Reach and lift with hands and arms; lift/move/carry objects up to 25 weight.
Climb stairs balance stoop kneel and/or crouch.
Ability to talk and hear for safety on the production floor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine
Ability to read a Work in Progress (WIP) report
Ability to perform transactions in Oracle for material processing
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Ability to read write and verbally communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise dust and fumes
Steel-toed shoes are required for this position
