Job Summary
Clow Valves Metal Casting Facility has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Brass Shipping Forklift
3rd shift hours: 7pm-5:30am
Starting Wage: $25.32; Qualified Wage: $25.96
$500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period complete
Health Insurance available after 60 days.
Brass Shipping Forklift Operators are responsible for transferring loads of materials and finished goods throughout the brass department.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
- Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people objects and other forklift traffic.
- Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
- Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.
- Cross train on other positions as needed
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Must be able to operate moving vehicles including crane truck or forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses hearing protection metatarsal guarded boots and others required.
- Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.
