Site Business OR Functional Area Overview:
The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen TX is a center of expertise specializing in the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. Our operations include advanced technologies such as CNC EDM and Coating as well as cutting-edge development within our new Tech Lab. Role Overview:

As the Lead Team Coachyou will work on-site in McAllen TX supervising an operation business unit or part of a production facility to reach defined targets in quality cost delivery and safety. You will ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards and manage a team offront-line hourly manufacturing employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in achieving goals related to safety quality cost production and compliance.
• Oversee supervisor for braze operators clean and strip and coating.
• Train develop engage mentor and inspire the manufacturing team.
• Manage employee performance including coaching development plans and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Monitor production schedules and trends coaching Production Specialists on implementation.
• Assess capacity and process capability to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations.
• Communicate key business and customer issues to employees.
• Prepare and present key information for meetings and trainings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Required to achieve and maintain an FAA Repairman Certificate to oversee employee training and cross-training
• Willingness and ability to work 2nd Shift flexible hours and weekends.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to document plan market and execute programs
• Established project management skills
• Previous production supervision experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Experience in FLIGHT DECK and Continuous Improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Additional Information:

• Full-time position with standard business hours.
• Must pass background and drug screens.
• This role is restricted to U.S. Citizens due to access to export-controlled technology.
