Production Coordinator Team Lead

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Production Coordinator Team Lead (Level C) to join the Emergent Operations Team in North Charleston South Carolina on 1st Shift.

The Team Lead will be responsible for pre-shift planning crew meetings team status updates labor loss production control training process improvement and Lean/BPS. The selected candidate must exhibit Boeing Behaviors and maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Position Responsibilities:

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities flight test etc.

• Monitors and analyzes work in process

• Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems

• Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability

• Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy

• Coordinates with various functions to set priorities expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

• Leads coaches supports and trains the team

• Exhibits Boeing Behaviors and possesses a safety and quality mindset

• Works under limited supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience in supply chain procurement and/or warehouse inventory management

• 3 years of working knowledge of inventory systems such as KITS Velocity Order Manager and ERPLN

• 3 years of experience problem solving

• 3 years of experience with MS PowerPoint Excel Outlook and Word

• Ability to walk stand climb and descend stairs bend and lift items package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Experience using lean manufacturing principles

• Experience leading a team formally or informally

This position is for 1st shift.
