Job Summary
Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Cloud System Administratorto support our Huntsville AL location.
We are seeking a full-time on-site Cloud System Administrator interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on cloud environments and deployments for state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining a Cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Ansible or similar technology
- Demonstrated experience with Azure AWS or similar technology
- Demonstrated experience with Linux servers DNS servers Dell serves HP servers domain controllers or network storage devices
- Demonstrated experience designing configuring and installing information systems such as routers servers switches storage systems and laptops
- 3 years experience with Linux OS administration e.g. RHEL
- 7 years experience in systems administration
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Security certification within 90-days
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree from accredited college in related discipline with 9 years professional experience; or Masters degree with 7 years professional experience; or PhD with 4 years professional experience
Bachelors degree from accredited college in related discipline with 14 years professional experience; or Masters degree with 12 years professional experience; or PhD with 9 years professional experience
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with RHEL 8 and RHEL 9
- Demonstrated experience deploying complete DevSecOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines automated deployments and compliance scanning using test-driven development
- Vulnerability remediation and security management e.g. system hardening log management configuration management etc. using Nessus McAfee WSUS Splunk ACAS SCAP HBSS etc.
- Virtualization e.g. VMware Horizon vSphere vCenter vSAN
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
- Demonstrated experience with issue-tracking tools e.g. Gitlab Jira Agility
