As the Head of Operations for our US sites you will serve as both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator. Youll be responsible for shaping and executing the day-to-day operations while also driving long-term planning and cross-functional alignment across G&A functions. Acting as a key local leader and trusted partner to our global HQ.
Youll manage one Office Manager and oversee all local G&A functions (HR Finance Operations IT & Recruitment). From running day-to-day operations and resolving on-site issues to planning events youll be responsible for creating a smooth engaging and well-supported work environment. Youll work closely with senior leadership to ensure our US sites operate effectively reflect our global standards and deliver an outstanding employee experience.
What you will be doing
- Lead daily operations and long-term G&A strategic planning for the US sites.
- Managing an Office Manager.
- Deliver employee experience related events and initiatives that align with our global culture and serve the needs of local team members (e.g summer parties happy hours wellness weeks etc.)
- Represent the US site in global decision-making and ensure HQ messaging is localized and well-communicated.
- Own site-wide programs including office expansion vendor relationships and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with building management and external vendors ensuring a secure well-maintained and efficient office environment
- Assist in arranging travel logistics catering to the needs of both our team and global employees visiting.
- Partner with global HR and local leadership to support retention and engagement initiatives.
- Manage the US site budget in partnership with global Finance.
- Provide IT support to all on-site employees working collaboratively with our HQ IT team.
Your skills and experience
- 4 years in operations management site leadership or general management roles with a strong background in employee experience.
- Must have experience delivering a varied schedule of team events including parties happy hours off-sites meet-ups and workshops.
- Deep understanding of employee experience and team dynamic.
- Direct experience managing budgets for a site or business unit.
- Experience working with or influencing senior leaders and C-suite.
- Ability to translate global goals into local action and local insight into global decisions.
- Confident working across time zones cultures and with matrixed teams.
- Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills - especially under ambiguity.
- Ability to work from our New York office 5 days a week. Flexible hours and late hours for special events.

Expected salary range for this role is $90000-$110000
