Backend Engineer

Company Overview

An e-commerce fintech digital content and communications company with more than 30000 employees and operations in 30 countries and regions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Handle the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design programming testing and deployment.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers internal teams and upstream/downstream system stakeholders.

Monitor and optimize system stability and performance design and maintain system architectures and perform refactoring troubleshooting and continuous improvements.

Experience and Qualifications
Over 5 years of experience in Java development using frameworks such as Spring and Play with strong knowledge of design patterns and RESTful/GraphQL API development.
Hands-on experience in unit testing with JUnit frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and relational databases (3 years with RDBMS).
Skilled in version control tools (Git SVN) web servers (Apache Nginx) and Unix/Linux environments (1 year).

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Background in working with caching and NoSQL technologies like Redis Kafka MQ and Memcache.

Proficient in CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools including Jenkins and CircleCI.
