The role involves managing building &maintenance work & staff preparing civils report computing BOQ for building & maintenance projects orders allocating & keep inventory of tools.

Responsibilities:
- Planning organizing directing controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule.
- Manages building and maintenance works and staff i.e. builders plumbers carpenters and steel fixers.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly work schedules for building and maintenance staff and coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Oversee the ordering of building and maintenance material and ensure accountability.
- Compute a Bill of Quantities for building and maintenance projects.
- Responsible for facility inspections and recommend action to be taken on their repairs.
- Manage and coordinate all the different sub-contractors
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Assist GM in the preparation of the annual budget and budgets for new projects.
- Orders allocate and keeps the inventory of all tools used by staff for building and maintenance work and ensure that they are kept in good condition all the time.
Key Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Highly organized
- Good IT skills including Auto Card and Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Previous work experience in construction management or another similar role.
- Understanding of construction management process
- Able to plan ahead
- Excellent time management ability
- Able to multitask
- Clean class 4 Drivers license.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering and building
