Job Summary

Server & Storage Support Engineer

Role Objective:

Ensure effective operation maintenance and monitoring of the organisations server and storage
infrastructure to deliver high availability and reliable performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain physical servers including OS installation patching and performance
tuning.
Administer VMware environments (vSphere/ESXi) including provisioning VMs snapshot
management backup verification and migration.
Ensure backup completion and disaster recovery readiness including participation in DR
drills.
Monitor and manage SAN/NAS storage infrastructure (e.g. QSAN) ensuring proper
allocation redundancy and zoning.
Implement and test storage replication and protection mechanisms.
Act as Level-2 escalation for incidents impacting servers/storage.
Document infrastructure changes maintain server inventory and update system
configurations.

Desired Profile:

Graduate in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
4 6 years of experience in server and storage administration.
Strong knowledge of VMware Windows/Linux server administration.
Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS platforms (QSAN or equivalent).
Familiarity with backup solu ons and DR frameworks.
Ability to troubleshoot escalated technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
