Job Summary
We are partnering with a multinational client in the freight and logistics industry who require an Assistant Accountant to join their collaborative and cohesive team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain longevity growth and experience in a fast paced environment.
Assist with preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Provide ad hoc support to the finance team and management
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in an accounting or assistant accountant role (required)
Proficiency with Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and external stakeholders
Qualification:
Diploma in finance or accounting with at least 3 years in a similar role.
