Work Location
- Onsite position: 1555 W Ogden Ave. Naperville IL 60540 USA
Responsibilities
- Develop clear and concise operational instructions for process manuals and other documents.
- Collaborate with Core team (operators/union members) safety team engineers and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
- Conduct interviews with and observe work performed by various user (Operators Union employees) to gather data for documentation. - Start-up / Shutdown / Changeovers / etc.
- Gather photographs and other useful media to enhance and provide visual clarification of documents
Shift:Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Bachelors Degree in training or equivalent combination of education experience or technical writer
- Minimum 2 years experience as a technical writer or service writer (food industry or related)
- Solid technical writing skills including the ability to research and document functionality protocols and processes
- Excellent writing grammar proofreading and editing skills along with strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional ability in creating technical documentation for non-technical persons.
