What does our Internship Program offer

Keys Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters offers feedback and coaching and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing ones full-time career to Key.

Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Keys business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Keys competitive landscape financial wellness and professional development best practices and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge experience and advice.

• Business Delivery providing comprehensive technology solutions to Keys lines of business & functional areas
• Enterprise Technology including architecture networks and cloud infrastructure to ensure stable systems and platforms
• Enterprise Data and Information Management enabling transformation of customer and market data into valuable insights and analytics
• Enterprise Operations spanning Origination through Default Management Deposit Operations ACH Wire & Check Payment OperationsTreasury Operations
• Enterprise Security including Technology Risk Management Information Security Vulnerability Management Cybersecurity Fraud Detection/Management Identity Verification and Physical Security

Key Technology Operations and Services (Technology Track) Internship Program

Our summer internship program spans 10 weeks in duration and allows you to work alongside KeyBanks experts within Key Technology Operations & Services (KTOS). The internship provides an opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with our innovative technology teams. Our internships will equip you with competitive skills valuable networking and mentoring and exposure to executives through a structured experience.

  • Hands-on project experience
• Upon successful completion of the internship you will have the opportunity to be considered for placement (after graduation) in our KTOS Rotational Analyst Program. Candidacy for the program will be based on skills demonstrated performance career interests internship experience and business demand

Possible Team Placement Opportunities

KTOS Technology teams deliver innovative technology & solutions based on client need as well as build design and improve upon systems and processes in multiple lines of business. Team placement options for this internship include:

• Platform Engineering- this team is responsible for GCP infrastructure CICD and oversees Security Operations for Student Loans and GradFin Applications
• Application Development- full stack engineering focused on building digital workflows and using JavaScript and Java

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Computer Science Information Systems IT Management Software Engineering Web Development Computer Programming Network Engineering Game Design and System Administration or related field with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or December 2026
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA)
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
• Bring solid analytical problem solving communication and presentation skills
• Possess intellectual curiosity enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Proven ability to learn new software and systems
• Monday-Thursday in office attendance in San Diego office location required

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $25 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.

KeyBanks Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g. H-1B visa).
